This is Elmer the grouchy pet rock sleeping on his pillow. Yes, pet rocks sleep with their eyes open. Hopefully he is having good dreams so he won't be a grouch when he wakes up.
Elmer enjoys his beauty sleep. He should be waking up in a few hours.
